Professor Barry Dalal-Clayton is the Director of EDS-International which he established in 2014. He has 48 years post-graduate experience promoting sustainable development in developing and developed countries. From 1988 to 2014 he worked with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), based in London, where he held several posts, latterly Senior Fellow and Director for Strategies, Planning and Assessment. Professor Dalal-Clayton has worked in 20 countries around the world including 10 years based in Zambia working on soil survey, rural development and agriculture for UK ODA (now DFID) and NORAD.
